I have been utterly tired of this lingering warm spell over California. I know its a little whiny of me for I am quiet blessed here on the west coast when it comes to weather, but can you blame me for just wanting to indulge in some fall feels?!? As crisp chill finally set in this past weekend, I started to sort through my wardrobe for some transitional looks. Fall style is really all about transitional pieces. You really just can't just chop it up to throwing on the latest coat or boot trend once the first leaves turn yellow, it requires a patient warm to cold weather wardrobe process. That process starts for me by dipping into fall pallets and patterns. I recently picked up this Forever 21 mini, in both black and blush. Only $12, its warm taupe accents and victorian floral vibes are understated fall trends that lend themselves to ushering the new season.
Helping me celebrate the start of the fall season, I met up with local SF blogger babe Grace, from My Style & Grace, for a s'mores in style date at Verge Restaurant. This tasty seasonal treat includes sinful Ghirardelli chocolate squares and marshmallows, made in-house, in both lemon and bourbon flavors, which are served to your table with a s’mores-ready fire pot. Available for a limited time, make sure to check-out this insta-worthy seasonal dessert before its gone! Happy Fall!!!
