Cinco De Mayo is one of those holidays that reminds me that summer is around the corner! Thus I love taking the day to have some #happyhour fun and kick-off the coming season. I did just that earlier this week in the city at Mosto SF. An intimate Tequila Bar, I was joined at Mosto SF by two darling Latina bloggers, Carlina of Allergic To Vanilla and Daisy of Daisy Fashion Garden. I had a blast introducing them to Mosto's craft cocktail program. We tasted the La Palmoa made with Milagro Blanco Tequila, the I-Grade made with Monte Lobos Mezcal and the Evil Twin made with  Monte Lobos Mezcal/Ancho Reyes Liqueur. Tequila and Mezcal are not my spirits of choice (as you may know I am a Whisky gal see HERE), yet using natural Agave, fresh juice and great spirits, like Milagro Blanco Tequila, Monte Lobos Mezcal and Ancho Reyes Liqueur are game changers! I think we were all especially surprised how much we loved the Monte Lobos Mezcal libations. Both were smooth and sweet without loosing the Mezcal's signature oaky flavor. Stay tuned to a full recipe feature on these three fun summer ready cocktails!!! Of course we had to also sample its delish Mexican-Style street food menu. Must-try bites are the veggie tacos made with nopales and the "hamburgesa" with Oaxacan queso. Salud and Besos!
