I must tell you, I miss home. I've been on the road for over two weeks now and I simply long to sit on the bench in front of my favorite coffee shop. I miss my friends and family. I am also totally jonzing for my puppy cuddles. Yet l must also tell you, life on the road has been amazing. There are days when I wake up and just get lost in exploring or I have random conversations with strangers that make my heart full. As this series of trips comes to an end, I am so excited to share with you some of my highlights so stay tuned for a recap coming to the blog soon!
Before I embarked on my journey, I wore this look to some meetings and the super fun Kendra Scott preview at Santana Row. This whole look is pre-loved from head to toe. I have recently cut down on shopping significantly, purchasing only investment pieces while thrifting the trends. Honestly its been a great way to curate my outfits, mixing and matching pieces I am truly in love with. For this ensemble, my focus was this fun retro style nautical stripe sweater. Keeping everything in the neutral blue hues, this vintage denim jacket I found at Savers for a steal was the finishing touch to this layered look. A denim jacket is a must-shop wardrobe piece for this spring to summer season. When purchasing one, opt for a more stone-washed and a slightly over-sized fit. Fitted and cropped are a no-go! Madewell has some amazing choices. I will be sharing my picks in my Mother's Day Gift Guide next week.
