You know when everything you try-on is just not cutting it? Well that about sums up my last month of 2013. A little burnt out by the holidays and a tad too lazy to get my bum off the couch, December was a month of hibernation sans too many blog posts and I hope you forgive me for taking a moment to disconnect. Nevertheless, I AM BACK!

Kicking off 2014 I embraced the sequined bandwagon and wore some New Year's twinkle. Honestly, these days I have been wearing what I have in my closet, only acquiring new pieces occasionally. Yet after trying on a handful of vintage dresses their sequins just were not cutting it. Luckily Target saved the day and when I went in to buy shampoo I walked out with an adorable crop top. On budget for $20 and super en trend, its sequined cap sleeves combined with its mirrored winter floral print had me at first sight. Keeping its edgy style, I layered on some statement necklaces and rings, paring it with my favorite studded clutch and a go-to faux leather skirt. If I do say so myself, not too shabby for a last minute look. Oh Target, I heart you.
