Floral prints are always a great staple look for the spring season. Yet make sure to note that whether in form of a pant, dress or skirt it is important to balance the type of print to the outfit piece. For example, a classic flower pattern on a traditional cut dress can start to look too girlish or even dowdy and dated. Try to keep timeless floral motifs to more modern looks like on a statement pant or blazer. For more conventional silhouettes, such as a shift dress or an a-line skirt, don't be afraid to play with more graphic flower images.
For my blooming look, I kept my colors classic as well as bringing in a denim top for a casual touch. Indulging in my see-through obsession (see here and here), I finished the ensemble with my version of glass slippers. A little bold, a little funky these wedge pumps will certainly be on rotation for the warm months to come.
