Chocolate cravings was the driving force behind this weekend's dessert project. Although I had quiet my fill over the holiday with sweets like pie and bread goodness, I was still left with a slight want for some coco concotion. Therefore looking to explore the flavor of classic mexican hot chocolate, I scoured the web till I found this recipe (see here). Quite the indulgent treat, I am still perfecting my own take on this recipe, but for a first go, I was quiet excited to make a cake from scratch, without too many disasters! Oh ya... how about that vintage cake stand? I almost died when I found it thrifting this past Fall.
