Floral Fever

Floral print will always be a staple trend for spring and every year a new way to do the timeless look emerges. This up coming season, flowers have graced us in form of floral trousers. I had purchased a pair of my own, at H&M in December, but after concluding that this particular flowery print was not my "cup of tea", I decided to hold out for that must-have moment. Thus, nursing my floral fever, I recently snatched a botanical baby doll to ease my suffering. A great spring to summer statement piece, I got it for only $7... Yup... $7 dollars at Urban Outfitters, during a markdown on top of markdown sale. True story, even the guy manning the cash register was super excited for moi. Aside from having to pair it with my oh so awesome DIY cap-toe pumps (see tutorial here), I also gave the billowy dress some structure, adding, my favorite oversized blazer. Finally for a personal touch, I was so happy to accessorize with my namesake necklace, I ordered a few weeks back, when visiting Capitol Beach.
